EPA Letter to
STAPPA/ALAPCO Proposing Allocation of FY 2005 Grant Reductions (December
23, 2004) -- EPA sent the attached letter to STAPPA President Nancy
Seidman and an identical letter to ALAPCO President Dennis McLerran
soliciting STAPPA/ALAPCO input on allocating Congress' reductions to
Section 103/105 grants in FY 2005.
EPA�s recommendations include
eliminating the Mobile Source Outreach Competition.

Short-term SIP Processing Issues Workgroup � Recommendation #15 (December
16, 2004) �
Developed by the Short-term SIP Processing Issues Workgroup of
the Clean Air Act Advisory Committee, this recommendation calls on EPA, the
state and local agencies and the tribes to develop a menu of options for
effective communication to build support with a wide variety of constituencies
for clean air plans at the state and local level.
The STAPPA/ALAPCO
Public Education and Communications Committee has
been selected as the appropriate group to coordinate this effort.
